The Love and Logic Early Childhood Parenting Made Fun!™ program is a FIVE week program that focuses on children from birth through age six. We will explore easy to use parenting skills to help us raise respectful, responsible kids and lower our parenting stress. This program is designed to help families in FIVE key areas: Preserve and enhance the child’s self-concept. Teach children how to own and solve the problems they create. Share the control and decision making. Offer empathy before consequences. Build the adult-child relationship. I look forward to sharing this program with your family! Session One Handling Misbehavior Without Breaking a Sweat We will explore techniques to help us put an end to whining and arguing. We will also discuss how we can respond to misbehavior with empathy, instead of anger or frustration. Session Two Teaching Kids to Listen...the First Time We will explore techniques to get our children to behave without lectures, threats, warnings, or bribes. Session Three Avoiding Power Struggles We will explore techniques to help us share the control by offering choices within limits. We will also look at how we can guide our children to own and solve their problems. Session Four Limits Create Happier Kids, Parents, and Families We will explore techniques to help us turn our words into limits we can actually enforce. We will also discuss the power of joyful modeling. Session Five What to Do When Your Kids Leave You Speechless We will discuss delayed consequences and a universal consequence. Learn practical techniques to make parenting less stressful! The small group atmosphere allows parents to feel connected, ask questions, and problem solve with other parents facing similar challenges. The course is full of stories and examples that focus on children from birth - six. High Five Parenting also includes application videos that allow participants to see the techniques in action with young children. Participants have access to a Lending Library of Love and Logic materials. Enjoy books and CD’s such as Sibling Rivalry, Didn’t I Tell You to Take Out the Trash?,Keeping Cool When Parenting Heats Up and many more! As a stay-at-home mother of a 4-year-old and an 18 month old, the course facilitator puts Love and Logic into action everyday. Can’t Make the Next Class? I offer the following options:

Private Course

Get at least 10 friends or neighbors together and I will facilitate the class in your home, working around your schedule.  If you host a private course, you and your spouse participate for FREE.


Public Course

What church do you attend?  What business do you work for?  What school do your children attend?  If you host a course at one of those locations, with at least 10 people, I will work around your schedule and you and your spouse participate for FREE.


Introduction Session

Do you participate in a mom’s group? A Bible study?  If so, I will present a one hour session at your next group meeting.  This session provides a foundation to the Love and Logic philosophy as well as gives participants techniques they can implement  immediately.


Preschool Teacher Session

This one hour session provides a foundation to the Love and Logic philosophy as well as gives teachers techniques they can implement immediately.


Business Lunch Session

Are you too busy to attend a course in the evening?  If so, I will teach the full course or a one hour introduction session at your place of business during the lunch hour.
